Who is JOSEPH KONY?

He is THE WORST LIVING CRIMINAL. He abducts children and makes them use guns to kill their own parents. He takes girls and forces them to be sex slaves. He calls his abducted children the Lord’s Resistance Army, AKA the LRA. He has abducted over 30,000 children and forced them to be child soldiers in Central Africa. He remains at large because he is INVISIBLE to the world. FEW know his name, even FEWER know his crimes. WE ARE MAKING HIM FAMOUS! Because when he is, the world will unite against him and demand his arrest.

We can help make a change. We can make a difference.

I feel so inspired. I feel the need to help and make a difference. This has to happen in 2012. We can’t let him go around and keep doing this to children in Central Africa. Let’s make his name known so he can be stopped. HE CAN NO LONGER BE INVISIBLE!

Wow, so this is my 2nd tumblr post in like 2 weeks, which is a new record. And the only reason I’m posting is cause God has once again come through.

On my last tumblr post, I invited my friend to youth group, and she said she’d come. She came today, and it was amazing. We were talking about digging into the word and how to study your bible tonight, and since it was her first time at church since like she was in 4th or 5th grade, I was really nervous at first cause I wanted her to have a good impression of our youth group and what church is. Thing is, during worship, when I finally gave her and the night up to God is when I finally felt at ease and knew that if something was gonna happen, then God would most definitely make it happen. 

So, after the message and during BDG, we were sharing prayer requests, and one of the female counselors and my friend were talking, and the female counselor asked her if she had a bible or anything and she said she hadn’t. So, we suggested that since our church has a lot of extras, she can take one to study and read if she wanted to (realize that she had never actually read the bible before and that she doesn’t really know what christianity is). 

When I was driving her and another friend home though, and when we got to her house, she suddenly said, “Oh, I forgot to bring a bible.” And knowing then what God wanted me to do, I let her borrow mine, AND SHE TOOK IT! Oh man, when she got out of the car and my other friend moved to shotgun and closed the door, we literally screamed and I was seriously starting to tear up because it was so amazing to see someone that doesn’t know who Christ is to be able to open up and take the first step in reading the Word (She even asked where she should start!). That can only be God working. I was so grateful and joyful that my friend and I rejoiced in the car. Man, it’s so great to see God working. He really can work through anyone and anything. She also said she had a great time at youth group and is gonna try to come back the week after Spring. I’m so so so so SO excited! Praise the Lord! He is SO good :)

I know I don’t usually write posts, but this was too joyous not to post. This past Sunday, some of WCAC’s servant leadership team went to Lombard Bible Church to share with their leadership team about our experiences, and on that night, Josh Garber talked about being bold in evangelizing and how when opportunities arise for you to share the gospel and talk about God, you take them and run.

Today, actually, like 10 minutes ago, a friend of mine from school facebook chatted me (and she usually doesn’t fb chat me that much). She asked whether I went to church or not, and after I said yes, she asked me what it was all about and basically what we did there. After sending a quick prayer for God to speak through me, I went into quite a detailed explanation about what we did at church and at youth group. Man, the feeling of sharing such an important part of my life with a friend of mine is so amazing. She asked some questions, and I did my best to answer them. Then, I invited her to youth group this Saturday and Saturdays in general. I was hoping and praying that she’d give it a try, and she said she’d do her best to come.

Now, just this past Sunday, God reminded me that sharing God’s word so that your friend can have a possible way of being with God forever is worth the sacrifice of anything else that might happen to you. And today, I’m so so SO grateful God gave me the chance to be bold and share with her. This is by no means anything of my doing or other peoples doings; it’s all God. PTL! Hopefully, she’ll be able to come this Saturday and see what WCAC yg is like :) GET EXCITED! YAY!

So, I knew right when I made this account that I probably wouldn’t have time to actually post in it, and I was right (well except for this post). After the 10 day challenge, I’d only come on to check other peoples’ things. It’s not that I don’t wanna update it, my life is just extremely boring and it takes a really really long time to type everything down, so yeah. Okay that’s it, time to go back to math. Day Ten: One confession

Yayy!! I made it to day 10. mmm… this one’s gonna be hard though. 

I guess my confession would be… I used to be such a tomboy, and I was obsessed with Runescape and Maplestory. I’d literally play everyday. Yups, oh and I still have my pokemon card collection from like 4th grade… it’s in my room.
